Hi folks,
Stalingrad & river names:
There is something strange going on with the river names, it seems the editor does not include them anymore and some maps still shot the names while others don't.
We look into this.

Rumyantsev
2 questions :
1. Campaign tree
A loss at Rumyantsev brings me directly to Chapter III Revenge North (2nd Smolensk). Is this normal? No choice North or South?
2. Partisans
I had a defeat because of the number of turns too short but I never saw the Partisans appear?
I don’t quite understand the conditions in the Editor.
Perhaps with the help of the Partisans I could have won?
1. It can happen, if you do not win Kutusov. Then you will automatically be assigned to the southern route after a victory at Charkow.
2. The conditions were outdated and designed for a different mission. I changed it, so the Partisans appear on turn 4 and 6 to support your attack.

Berlin
All German bridges over the Oder are blown up but there are no pre-deployed Soviet Construction Engineers units ?
I assumed the player could buy some engineers with the amount of resources givin at Berlins gates. But i could add one or two units if that is needed.

Hi Ronald,
Looks like a ''historical Courland'' scenario mod. Germans still held Liepaja and Ventspils by the day of Germany's surrender, although they lost Saldus and all other cities in the scenario.
If the Soviets are trying to take Liepaja and Ventspils it is ''cut off and destroy''. Germans could either hold Courland or break out to East Prussia. A breakout plan is mentioned by Franz Kurowski in his ''Bridgehead Courland'' (unfortunately I had a Russian version of that book that was unreadable because of hardcore Stalinist editorial footnotes, like calling all refugees ''collaborationists and war criminals'' - some of them were collaborationists but others were just civilians not wishing to end up in Stalin's land.)
I tried to create something that plays like what happened there. I think if the Soviets had managed to cut off the important ports, the Army Group would not have been able to withstand so long.
But that's utter speculation.
