What will be the next game?

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

I think that World War One on the Eastern Front could be portrayed very well with this engine. There was a lot of naval action, some maneuver warfare, and some frontal fighting.

Perhaps even the whole of World War One.

The Balkan Wars of 1878 and 1912–1913.

The Russo-Japanese War.

The Russian Civil War and the Polish-Soviet War of 1920.

But my favourite theme would be 18th-century European warfare — the Seven Years’ War, the War of the Spanish Succession, and similar conflicts.

There was a lot of supply cutting, maneuvering and siege warfare, with an important role played by navies and navigable rivers.

If it’s too difficult to create a game that covers the entire Pacific War right off the bat, how about starting with *Uncommon Valor 2*, which focuses on Guadalcanal—where the fighting between Japan and the U.S. was at its most evenly matched?
