I see the Flower Class corvettes as PGs (Which I don't have a problem with) but would like to be able to add them as escorts in the auto-convoy system so I can use them as intended.
This a bit of a funny one as there were also used a lot as MSWs and had the sweeping gear, but they were also used as escorts. Corvettes are normally classed as PGs (Patrol Gun???).
Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Please post OOB comments and issues in this thread only, time does not allow reading each and every thread looking for OOB issues, SO if it does not get listed here it may get missed...
Please include scenario number when reporting an issue and as much detail as possible. Please remember there are 14 scenarios and the tutorial. So scenario number is needed to help us figure out what you are reporting.

I've never heard of the Flower class being used as minesweepers or even having sweeping gear on board.

Should the 14th, 17th, 20th, 23rd and 26th Indian Divisions have TOE's of Infantry Brigades instead of Divisions?
If you are refering to scen 15 they begin at brigade strength but if you look at there TOE, you'll see that they will build up to divisional strength. It will take a while though!
Ki-67, is aparently Not Torpedo capable in the game, the data bases does not show this weapon type listed for it, Why is that? They used Torpedoes operationaly, both the Army and Navy Ki-67's used torps.
P1Y, Not listed as Torpedo capable either.

Still cruising the map trying to get a "feel" for everything..., but I did notice one
GLARING error in the PH/Ohau OB. The "CD" unit is totally wrong, showing 3 16"
guns and 41 155's. A quick glance at my Coastal Artillery References shows a
minimum of the following present 12/7/41:
4 16" Guns; 2 14" Guns; 4 12" Guns; 20 12" CD Mortars (though some of these
may have been removed when it was found that the pits could fire more effeciently
and faster with 2 mountings rather than 4); 6 240mm CD Howitzers; 10 8" Guns
(8 of these on RR mountings); 14 155's in CD mountings; and 4 6" Guns plus a number
of smaller weapons.
Also noticed a couple of oddities in the "Weapons" section. It shows 12" guns with a
much greater range than 14, 15, or 16 inch weapons---and it shows the 14" gun with
a massive anti-armor strength compared to it's brotheren. Looks like a few things
"slipped through the cracks" guys.
I did some internet research. I was wrong about Saipan getting a minefield. Sources remark about the surprise from Navy divers that there was no minefield. So Saipan not having a minefield is fine.
But Tinian and Guam should, or at least the accounts I've read include mention of mines. They particularly caused some grief to landing forces on Guam. The fields were avoided on Tinian.
And Palau should get a minefield as well, in case the USN gets uppity.
And how 'bout some forts on the smaller islands? How long have those lazy slug-a-bed Japanese ground forces been on Pagan? And not even a level 1 fort? [:D]

Could you note the complete reference to your source?
-It seems there is a IJA squadron equipped with Ki-44´s in early game. This is wrong, as the plane only appeared in late 1942 (I wrongly placed a thread abouth this topic, sorry guys..).
-We need the P-51H, the F8F, P-47N, P-61C and other late allied planes. I personally would like to see some G8N´s and Ki-83´s too, at least their graphics in the scenario editor (althought I´m already happy with the J7W and the A7M2)

Bombur, There was a special (production run unit) the 47th Independent Flying Chutai which operated Ki-44 Shoki fighters ( six IIRC ) in fought in both Malaya and Burma Dec 41 thru April 42.
Hutricane II, Aparently we have the "C" in the Game and I am fairly Certain that what was in theater was the A and the B (more the B model), which had 303's not 20mm Hispanos.

My Book By Buschel on the Ki-44 covers this as well, as does Francillion.

Note on late war Allied fighter types as aposed to the Late war Japanese ones: This was brought up some time ago during the Betta pahse on this forum, and I beelave the consensious was that since Japanese production was playable that these types which were in production, and some did see combate, neaded to be included so players could posably get them built. Since prety much every standard US fighter type in service in the game at the end of the war is Better than they anyway, the point of adding the US ones that are not represented, Bearcate for example, was considered mute. It should also be noted that not every unit can upgrade to whatever plane type it wants to even if you bild tons of them it will not mater only a limited number of units can man them, and Japanese piolet skill will likely be so bad even if you have these wounder rifes they will die in droves.

OK, I guess no one else has noticed it, so I will point it out. I guess the reason that British ships don't have float planes is because the British, since early 1941, began to rely on radar. By late 1941, the Walrus was being phased out aboard ship, and in late 1941 and 1942 catapaults were being removed, so that by 1943 most British cruisers and battleships had them landed. While PoW and Repulse DID have their float planes, IIRC they were the only British capital ships to have their catapaults plus float planes when deployed to the Far East/Pacific.
I agree that it would be nice to have them, but considering had they survived it is quite probable that by mid-late 1942 they would have been landed, it would be a waste to spend effort to get them in to the game, when they would hardly be used. I would like ot see them, but I won't cry if I don't get them.

Their were several Warlurs Units in the Far east and the Pacific War in general, howeaver and they are not in the game either, so it is not like were just talking about the Pow and Repulse hear. I recal seeing an oob listing for the CBI early one and their were a few of these units listed in theater. Right Now I would love to have some Sea planes for Scouting in the CBI.

I don't know if this one has already been picked up but the Tachibana class DD's have a forward facing type 13 Radar in the place where it appears a 5in gun should be. (The editor also lists this radar as having 36 ammo!)
I completely agree with your post on Pearl Harbour coast defense. However, the new model 14" shell used by the old battleships after being repaired is considered to be the best penetrator ever made. I will not have as much effect but will penetrate nearly anything.
