First time posting a scenario. Got quite far in internal testing and I thought it was time to submit it to others.
Disclaimer:
- I used AI to generate a couple of images and to generate the lua code
- This mission is supposed to be the first of a 5 missions campaign with persistence. Obviously, the persistence is not visible in this first mission but I have already started to lay the foundation of the mission 02 to create the campaign
- The campaign is the conversion of the "Sea Power: Naval Combat in the missile age" Strike group Molniya campaign with adaptations
- I also used a lot of inspiration from other scenarii posted here and in the Steam Workshop (including but not limited to : HTML briefing, "Ready aircraft" special actions, Image from external sources)
The scenario:
This is a raiding scenario (and campaign) playable on the USSR side only. The player has at its disposal a superior force of 3 warships, a carrier and a squadron a Yak-38s and must disrupt a NATO shipping lane without destroying neutral vessels.
There are multiple ways to win (from spending expensive and rare ASM to dumb bombing targets). The briefing contains a description of the threats and of the targets. You have until 06:05:00 to ready your aircrafts and use the special action "Ready aircraft" to rearm them instantaneously.
You objective is to sink 4 NATO transport vessels while preserving your flagship (the Petropavlovsk).
Please let me know what you think. I am looking for feedbacks on all aspects of the scenario:
- Is it too easy / too hard
- How is the briefing written (clarity, relevance...)
- Scoring
- Gameplay
- Triggers (a few triggers are in spoilers at the bottom of the post)
- Is the duration of the mission ok ?
- What could / should I change to make the mission more interesting / challenging / fun ?
Thank you !

Below the gameplay triggers:SPOILER
- Once NATO visually detect the player, the merchants should run towards the NATO warship NE of their position
- Once any blue (civilian or NATO) is damaged, NATO should turn hostile to USSR
- Point loss when civilian are destroyed
- Point win when NATO warships (+) and merchants (++) are destroyed
- Instant loss if Petropavlovsk is destroyed
