Aye, for ships that are in the build queue, some of them have unknown for their port of first appearance.

El cid, while browsing around this scenario which bombur and myself are getting ready to play, I noticed some ships have destination 'unknown' when they appear in the game (after being built). Can you tell me what that means? ( I am assuming a random location or madacascar (sp) )

i think i know what the problem is. Your Pwhex file is the incorrect version for CHS. try running the file MapMod-Install. I had this problem earlier today.
