Any Love for Arena Football League?

I looked all over this sub forum and can't find anything for the AFL--logos, rosters, etc. Anyone know where else I can look?

Thanks.

RE: World Baseball Classic

<t> Ballparks are fine as is since in 2006 they used existing facilities. Players would have to be created which also isn't a big deal. Someone could create the association with all of that stuff.<br/>
<br/>
The problem is that Puresim would have to have a tournament feature to plug that ...

RE: The ONE Thing You Want From The Next PureSim?

<t> A true expansion mode where the player can become own the expansion team from start to finish. Of course, there may have to be two to balance things out but as long as the player can control one, that is fine. <br/>
<br/>
I would like to pick a team, its city, league, etc. And then have an ...

World Baseball Classic

<t> I just found my old program from this event and was wondering if anyone thought this would be an interesting module for PureSim. I mean a small tournament Mode with these various teams. It was fun to watch the different styles and might make for a nice break from the MLB sims on the game. What ...

How about a pitcher warm up feature?

<t> I will admit that I don't read every post on this board but it seems like when features are asked for, this never comes into account. I used to love this feature in the console games because you actually have to plan who to warm up and when. So if they are not warm and they come in, they get ...

RE: Do You Play This Game?

<t> I play this game in Reno, Nevada. Lived in the Baltimore Area last year when I first discovered it. <br/>
<br/>
I like to replace one team with a fictional team, thus creating an expansion team work around (picking all bench players from the other teams). Right now I manage the Vancouver (BC ...

RE: Some times it's the little things

<t> Hi. I don't post a lot but I definitely play a lot (still).<br/>
<br/>
I'd like to see the following:<br/>
<br/>
1. When you edit a team's name and location, the previous state still is listed on the team's front office screen. So if I replace the Dodgers with the Portland Beavers, it will ...

RE: printing team batting and pitching stats?

<t> I manage every game and want to print is the current team pitching and batting stats. I like to keep a little printed almanac for each season. Best case scenario, it would include my teams pitching and batting stats, the final league standings, and the leaders in offensive and pitching ...

printing team batting and pitching stats?

<t> Is there a way to do this easily that I am missing? I see you have a dialog box to print a box score and you can export association stats and cut unneeded column and rows (though this includes minor leaguers and all the stats are mixed). But is there a way to simply print what you see when you ...

Can we add team affinity for a player to the AI?

<t> I just pulled off this trade: <br/>
<br/>
Traded 1B Mark Teixiera, RHP macKay McBride, and RHP Heath Bell to Mariners for OF Ichiro Suzuki, C Kenji Johjima, and LHP George Sherrill<br/>
<br/>
Now statistically, this makes sense when you consider ages and overall stats but we all know Seattle ...

Anyone crack the code on ratings?

<t> When you create players, how do you come up with their stats? I am trying to create an association similar to the World Baseball Classic so I have to create many of the players. But how do I make sure the ratings are correct especially when some of the players are MLB players so their ratings ...

Player edit issues and another request for expansion improvement

<r> Sorry, this may be redundant as I posted them before. I reposted them on my puresimmers page, but Shaun suggested I post them here.<br/>

First, for frame of reference, the way I play the game is to do a expansion draft work around. I replace one team in the current (2006 for now) MLB ...

I will also make my pitch for us folks that like the added challenge of bringing in a created team full of B-level players and seeing how quickly you can turn it around. Whether that be through the ability to create a team without having to replace a team or (my ...

What about Baseball Mogul 2008?

<t> I think comparing OOTP to Puresim is apples to oranges. I think a better option would be Baseball Mogul 2008 to Pure Sim. BM is a very simple game with plenty of depth to keep your interest but not so much as to be overwhelming.<br/>

RE: What is up with the player database?

I see...so basically the rosters are accurate as of opening day 2006 with 2006 end of year stats/ratings unless a player was traded to a team where he played more games than he did with his opening day team. Is that about right?

<t> The easy way to move players is to click on their name and when you edit them (GM features) you can simply change their team. This will save you countless headaches when trying to work a trade.<br/>

BTW, how many players is your association set up with? 35? 55? Just curious. My ...
