Thanks! The Japanese didn't deploy whole divisions on every island they held. Often the forces were a lot smaller.

Instead of listing them by role, maybe it would be better to list them by type (DB, LB, HB, F, FB, R etc). The player can decide which role to assign.

I only have two comments and it's the Chinese counter colour issue. How about making it a bit more brown, somewhere between what it is now and the British colour?
Also, I find that the India blue counters feel more like marine or naval infantry. Perhaps Khaki would be better?

One thing I've noted is that if you leave Axis units in what will become Soviet territory after Turn 2, they get moved to the deployment box. Then you can deploy them on the French border without using any oil at all - as far as I could tell...
