RE: One Weird Battle

<t> I don't know if you will need to worry about bringing supply from Capetown to Aden. Aden receives supply convoys that drop about 500K of supplies once a month in 1942 (if I recall correctly), they start coming every 15 days in 1943. And Abadan produces all the gas you will need. I would check ...

RE: Massacre at Milne Bay

Q-Ball,

Those sub results don't seem to bad, they will get much bigger as you start zeroing on his SLoC. Only so many routes he can take from the Oil Fields to Japan. How many subs have you lost so far?

RE: Burma Question

<t> Q-ball,<br/>
<br/>
I don't disagree that the Allies were not prepared for an offensive in 1942. And it is way too easy for the allies to manage one in 1942 in game terms. By the same token, by 1943 if the Japanese have not built up their strength in Burma beyond 5 divisions they deserve to ...

You should definitely pay the PP for the restricted command units. However, I don't think Burma is badly out of whack as some people suggest. Historically there was very little support in India for a "popular revolt", despite what some claim. There was a lot of turmoil ...

P-38's seem to be much more effective as long range escorts and at High Altitude sweeps. Used in point defense of airfields, they seem to turn into targets against more maneuverable Japanese fighters. With their heavy firepower they seem to get more kills in their dive ...

<t> I'm not any kind of expert here, but I believe the citation read 110 "aircrew" not 110 "aircraft". Thus the less than 25% of the total aircrew at the battle. Total aircraft losses would seem to be on the order of 100% from all causes, given that all four Japanese carriers were sunk.<br/>
