Ah, so it is just as abstract as uboat and v-weapon Bombing. VP management only. Sort of disappointing to find this out... I always like to bomb oil & fuel figuring it would impact the Luftwaffe, but I guess best to just follow the lead outlined here and BTF out of HI.

It was due to the wrecked transportation system that Hitler required his army to defend so hard in FRONT of the Rhine near the Rurh... River barges was the only way left to move resources. Cost many troops that could have been better deployed to defend against Rhine crossing by the allies.

Once you have focus on the unit you wish to air transfer while in unit transfer mode, right click on the air field you wish to move it to and like Magic it will move to the air field (if eligible, of course). Unit will have 0 MP left.

Another request would be to leave the state of the AIR DETAIL button alone between phases. I like it to be on TWO PLANES, but it reverts back to ONE during the opponents phase.

Yes in the AUTO AD phase. It has happened consistently there, never saw a change during execution phase.
