Is that with full aim on? I've seen secondary round firing at the same target cost me 5-6 AP at lowest precision level. Merc stats also play a role.

Hurray on shooting values...that should be patched in [&o]

action_cost.xml doesn't seem to mention anything about dropping stuff though...hopefully somebody will find it.

Definitely over 20 hours long.... some sectors take hours to do just in tactical mode, and then you got other stuff to take care of with merc/equipment management all the time too. I'm probably still not half way done with the game and have been playing it for 2 days.

There are instances where it still doesn't work, as in it does not fade out the trees. Seems like reloading the sector fixes it, had it happen a few times (one was in the Dam sector).

Fading out roofs ALWAYS works correctly in my experience though.

I mostly care about the combat system. Is it as good as JA2? Don't think anyone expects a non-US game to have strong voice acting/writing in it.

Just stopped by a local Best Buy on home from work and the game is definitely available to buy. Not sure why online stores get it later...should have been out on Matrix at 12am today which would coincide with retail release.
