RE: Naval unit transfers between seas

you often get a message like "do you want these ships to pass through?". maybe you missed this if you were not watching the turn. Just my 2.3 cents

RE: Strategy guide for partisans?

I agree, to keep hitting <P> to toggle on-off-on-off while moving or placing units is a pain.
also, a mouse choice in addition to the keyboard <P> would be handy.

RE: Amphibious transport

<t> I agree the system as is works fine.<br/>
I think you can embark and disembark 3 units from Calais to Dover in one turn, if you have the<br/>
space to move 2 of them 1 hex out of Dover, and 2 from Cherbourg to near Portsmouth if you <br/>
fill all the sea hexes except 144,81 with ships. and 1 ...

RE: Supply and special units?

<t> I agree they can be useful as part of an attack, (as shown in all the map shots above) and a way to get more inf into England but they are unable to stand on their own (you know, commando stuff). <br/>
Without support, (air, ships and a hq). the commando attack at Narvik can't be done unless ...

Supply and special units?

<t> It seems to me that the paratroopers and commandos are almost useless. supply of 10 on the<br/>
turn of deployment and 0 the next turn if not connected to or deployed into <br/>
a supply source, or am I missing something? I thought the point of these units was to be able<br/>
to function ...

<t> Last time the Russians in my game declared war in the middle of my turn. June 41, as a result of me attacking Portugal. Had moved <br/>
everything else, then attacked Portugal with the Spanish, Russia declared and I had little to attack with, and it was a mud turn. <br/>
I guess Portugal was ...

RE: Multiple combat

<t> the same goes for subs, It seems I can have a U-boot anywhere in the Atlantic and in a turn the 1st DD moving will run across the sub and then every allied DD can reach and attack it, 5,6,7 times, it won't dive,(maybe once in 6 attacks it will), it won't retreat, just sits there and takes it ...

Yea. I thought that too. If the DAK does not deploy in Africa, there should be an
(other) choice. Deploy elsewhere? MPPs gained?, Right now I see no reason not to deploy
them, even if I just transport them right to Russia.

RE: Another balance issue with bombers

<t> I get by this by thinking a little abstract, with the no stacking rules I just assume units' fronts overlap some. IE the units on both sides of the bomber are supporting and covering its' front while the airfield is back from the front. While a bomber sitting on the airfield has no defense, it's ...

Scapa flow, Pearl harbor, Gibraltar and many other ports were infiltrated by subs and mini-subs that did damage to capitol ships.

Add them if you want them. This game has the best editor I have used. I gave most big navy nations a few.
