RE: UNIT ARRIVAL (No GreyJoy please)

<r> Czert: that is about what I mean <E>:D</E> I see no point in going into details how the loss of logistical base should translate into actual game stats. After all, that would be speculative and subjective, and I consider another discussion. My original point being, loss of "logistic base" having ...

RE: UNIT ARRIVAL (No GreyJoy please)

I see it in another way, the logistical area for raising the division has been lost. To still raise this division, one has to put up additional efforts, and PPs are the cost to pay.

Shinano squadrons do come with one of IJN best squadron commanders. I presume he is lost when we do not build out his carrier?

RE: European Version of WiTP

<r> In terms of game play, I find "campaign for north africa" very close to WITP. Of course there, the land warfare is the detailed component, with the naval component abstracted [:D] Too bad the game never quite take off, and definitely did not made it to the computer era.<br/>

Repeated LCUs

<r> I was wondering how repeated units are handed in this game. Some examples:<br/>
<br/>
<B><s></s>Maizuru 2 SNLF<e></e></B>, scenario 1 started with it loaded on 2 ships, yet we have a Maizuru 2 SNLF (albeit frag sized) in the reinforcement. Is the reinforcement to serve as a fragment ...

RE: Ki-49-II KAI Helen

Invest in the Tabby. It's worth it.

I must be missing something (Scen 1 player only), Emily L has longer range, bigger load and comes before Tabby. Both are IJN transport. What advantage of Tabby over Emily besides engine usage?

Ground combat modifiers

I apologise if this has been listed somewhere, but I cannot find it. Does anyone has a list of all modifiers to ground combat (AV)? I have the supply and fortification, (and obviously terrain modifiers :P).

Many thanks in advance!

PPs for early withdrawal of sqn

<r> As the Jap player, if we withdraw squadron earlier than the withdrawal date, I understand we are supposed to get PPs for them. However, I saw some inconsistencies in this rule and was delving into it by editing the scenario editor for a later start to double check. It seems that for some ...

You can upgrade it later and it should be able to fill in as an escort.
