in version 1.0.2.6 game is crashing every 5-10 minutes for Null pointer exception. Not Xenko engine crash, but DW2 game code crash.
Game is unplayable now.

Oh ok. That can happens. Some minor change or fix on last time before final build will broke the game in serious way.

Hello,
something serious is wrong with 1.0.2.2 - game started, load last save (from version 1.0.2.1), I can play few minutes .... but when I try to save progress then game will freeze. Not crash but freeze.
None build did it before on mine PC.

Hello,
looks that this was fixed in 1.0.2.2 - it looks completely different now (the same save as in mine post above).

But still I do not have idea why development is too low in mine capital world. It should be more than 300% (350 or so)

This seems fixed.

I just got the Heavy Railgun while also having the Humans Hail Cannons.
It is still hail cannons in the list.


Looks nice! I know that Erik and others works as much as possible to fix it.

But I with that instead of release they should do open beta, so all those problems with ...

I have the latest drivers (from 9.3.2022).
But I must say tonight with version 1.0.2.2 performance become better - 60 stable FPS. Maybe it will change after few hours of playing, we will see. I just started last save :-)

But no, I did not reset game settings - but some version should do ...

I agree.
This is come from Distant world 1 ... where it works the same. It was stupid because for example when you found that you forgot to research some hyperdrive type, then you will research now it in few days, no problem. But for Ship design screen that component become latest and it will only ...

I have the direct opposite experience.

If you don't paint all available map in your color and use smaller galaxy with lots of AI you will have shortages. And if you start colonising and rising pops especially.

More than that I never have enough luxury for my planets after the first hundred of ...

Hello,
I noticed that too, but I supposed that in that list are just spaceports that actually have enough recourses to build that fleet. It is nice feature ..... list will be different when you will try the same after some time (when stations will be supplied by private freighters).

Hmmm i have the same issue.
I understand that 100% taxes make them a little angry (I will be angry in this case too :D ), but at then end they are pretty happy with +30. Or they are not?
I think Location and Empire bonuses are doing that job, but still I should have much higher development ...

BTW I'm yours long fan and I want to help you as much as possible.
During weekend I tried to profile game GPU performance but I found that AMD is do not have tool that can profile DirectX 11 games.
They have very good tool, but it works for DirectX 12, OpenGL and Vulcan games only.

Noted Erik. Next time i will provide correct savegame.

BTW I'm in game in year 2900, many private ships etc. and FPS become very low on galaxy map 20-30. I already turn off civilian ships and lens flare effect.
GPU is running on 80-100%, so it must be connected to GPU not CPU. Here is the current ...

Unfortunately I do not have that old samegame - I'm 80 years in the future in the game now.
I found the oldest save, but it is AFTER that war happens (but not too long ago).
Enemy capital was on west - system Xagubah, planet Xagubah 7. I managed to won that planet with mine troops but ...

I have the same problem. I even manually modified design on colony ships and added Ion shield but it did not help. I build colonies in near start, just to allow to colonize that Continental planet .... but it not works. I'm pretty late in game, I have many technologies but I can't colonize that ...

I'm playing as Human empire and one of Human victory condition is to destroy more ships that you loss. But it is hard to reach because there is bug in count of lost ships.

automatic tax rate on colony can't go higher than 70%, but that is bad limit. On home world dua all buildings and atefacts I can manually set 100$ tax rate and population is still 30% happy (yes thay are happily giving aal theirs salary to state :-) )
And I have other developerd colonies ...
