I have the same issues, and I'm pretty sure it starts when one of your auto ships goes into one of their systems, and they fire on your ship to 'defend' the system. Not sure what causes them to decide to fire on you, but something weird is going on there.

I know sometimes you can issue orders to ships that are being built and they will leave and fly around with unbuilt parts. Perhaps what happened to you is the same but the party unbuilt was the reactor or something else critical. Is it a big big?

The list from the ships and bases UI doesn't include other sized bases, you have to use the r-click method above. Just select the base from that UI then click go to unit, then do it from there.

I don't think you are understanding me, my actual output is lower then my total capacity. A lot lower, it's one third the size. This means most of my capacity isn't being used. What gives?

Total research vs actual output?

So I've built a ton of research bases, but I seem to not be getting any effect from them, why is this? Can you only have 1 base per planet?

My research page says I have total output of almost 1mil in weapons, but actual output of 350k, whats going on here?

There are WAY WAY too many stickies in this forum, and it kinda limits the front page.

Most of them are really really out of date anyways, and some aren't even in the right forum! Like modder's wishlist!

Yeah, when you select the planet with a foundry, there are two different troopers to choose from. Be careful of their names, can be confusing.

Is the fleet full? I find that if you order a fleet to pickup from a mostly empty planet, only 1 ship takes the order and the rest just drop the order immediately. It's kinda frustrating when you try to micro them, but it does work if you don't look to closely.

And the interceptors? I assumed the torpedo ones must have a drop off because their damage number is just so damn high.

Do fighter's weapons damage drop over distance?

I'm comparing the damage of the different kind of fighters, but if the bombers have no drop off while the fighters do half damage at range, the bombers would be obviously better. Any idea about this new feature?

So can a gas mining ship fill it's own fuel if it's above a planet with it's gas? Or does the fuel have to go through a space port before it can be used as gas?
