I think I'd have to agree with the general consensus here that it may bring negative income at first but the trading and happiness benefits it brings in the long run outweigh the cost plus its also a good diplomacy boost.

You make a valid point. But I think pirates should increase by difficulty based on the average military strength of all empires in the game.

I think there should be a tab in the game or maybe something that pops up that tells your a certain station needs a specific resource :/. I think we should also be able to control freigters and maybe priortize them sometimes so that we can get certain resources to areas faster.

I think a spaceport should add to the defense of a colony in some way. They should probaly each some with their own garrison or in some way increase the defensive power of the troops already on the colony.

Shame crashes ruined yer game. Was loving this AAR. Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next patch to reduce the number of crashes. Great AAR though and you should maybe do more in the future.
