Basically just the hub-spoke system others have brought up also. DW2's resource economy shares some similarities with city builder games such as Caesar III and Settlers 2. It can learn some things from such games.

Click on the automation button. If the fleet is on manual, it'll be a yellow M. Click on it and it'll change into a blue A.

You're getting money from bonus income, which isn't included in your cash flow. Bonus income can indeed result from the construction of civilian ships, but also includes tourism and trade.

They work against missiles and torpedos (and boarding pods) too, some PDs are more effective against fighters than tracking weapons, and vice versa. Look for the tracking and damage stats against these targets. Many weapons have these stats, but PD weapons are much better at them than normal weapons.

It's probably just the default orientation. They do turn when they're firing in combat though.

I don't know if CodeForce plan on adding Steam Workshop support, but regardless of that, I think the prospect of having mods available in multiple places is not a good reason not to have Workshop support. The Workshop is just too convenient for Steam users to pass up.

+11 is your human suitability modifier for that planet. But you have to also factor in the basic planet quality that the number modifies. As I understand it, you want PQ + race modifier to add up to 70 or more.

You can still colonize with +11 or +16. You'll just have a lower maximum population and a higher support cost on that world. It all depends on how badly you want to colonize the world.

Spies remain at the capital even when they're on a mission, so IP works as normal.
