Did you get a game started? I'm in the UK and free several evenings a week. Played a lot using skype & teamviewer.

OP mentions playing solo - playing others via netplay or skype/teamviewer is the best way to learn what works & what doesn't. Nothing like some humble pie to learn how to play well [:)]

Well unless you have Gibralter or plan on a land route via Turkey or Russia then only route is via Italian transport & navy I believe. You can use air transport but range is limited until you can build a large ATP.

RAW seem to indicate that there is a benefit to over-running naval units in a surprise impulse, i.e. more likely to be captured or destroyed (15.1) but other than a referral to the over-run rules there is no indication of how this works.

My understanding is that you click on which counters you want to place in a single hex.

If you have teamviewer I'll happily take you through the setup & a couple of turns to get you going. We all had to climb this hill.

Our issue is that Free France & CW cannot co-operate. We had a fault in 1940 when France went to surrender (instead of Vichy) & system failed to do the surrender correctly.

We need one of the clever people to amend the game file so Free F. & CW can co-operate.

Vichy - but still cannot land in Free French ports & cannot use the CW oil.

I may be misunderstanding the RAW on this but why cannot CW units land in Free French ports?
Equally why can my Free French not use CW oil to re-org? Convoys in place but they are CW ones.
Does Foreign Troop Commitment apply between these two Powers?
