I struggled with some of the Baltic Fury scenarios, especially the first. An obsolescent Danish Air Force against swarms of Su-27s? No depth to fall back on, SAMs suppressed, few reinforcements. Tricky!

I agree with Tred. CMO has been a bit of a bug whack-a-mole over the last couple of years. Fortunately I love the game so I tend to just plough through the less annoying ones. Unlike bigger developers I sense that Matrix just doesn't have the manpower to bugfix releases properly. Hopefully this ...

Thanks. In my opinion that functionality should exist, and it used to - I could select large numbers of units and rebase them all at once.

I finally got round to playing this. Wow! That was quite a surprise at the start. I barely saved the HVUs and a few of my (thankfully less valuable) escorts paid the price.

Hello

I've tested this on multiple scenarios so no save attached.

When I select multiple units, select Unit Orders --> Select new home base --> select a new airbase, only one unit is rebased. And yes, it's not that some units can't be rebased there because of size/space at the airbase etc.

Have you tried playing just with the borders and coastlines setting of the map?


Miracle worker! The layers seem to have abnormal effect on my performance. I tested all the layers:

BMNG layer had the most debilitating effect, instant slowdown and mouse glitches
Base earth - some slowing, still ...

Thats a 10-year old low end GPU that doesn't support DX11 natively and will struggle with the 64 bit version of CMO. You might need to go back to the 32-bit 1307 version of CMO. Just double check that your laptop doesn't have an discrete nVidia or AMD GPU.

Playing on an (old) laptop - but I've run CMO (and CMANO) on it fine-ish for years

Using dedicated graphics card when running CMO - but it maxes to 100% immediately on launch, even in the menu, which is unusual
