IIRC the economic panel show the amount of MN it produces each turn.

Not producing and/or not repairing will help it recover faster.

Then again, maybe it is worth it to still be producing lower quality units rather than not producing or producing very little better units. I think depending on the ...

I did not know that! Do you know a ballpark figure how much difference they make? Is that the only off-map unit in the advancement table? Still, it would add versatility if naval advancements could be changed.

There is no real reason to buy CVs or DDs in WarPlan (but yes in WP Pacific). Allies usually have enough of them at start. And the Warship advancement they use also has enough anti-sub improvement to do the job of protecting themselves vs subs.

Seems very good to me.

But the moving every turn to another convoy might become predictable. You basically randomize it weather you move or not.

It is useful to know that although subs can not do " pursuit " in fleet mode they still follow the pursuit logic when raiding if they used both actions ...

All that and I was also building eventually 2-3 heavy bombers with anti-subs advancements. It can help in some situations. Once not needed anymore, they can be changed to other types such as strategic bombing.

It is very tough to say as it depends on how many MMs UK has build in the previous year.

For the same amount of damage you could put the UK in big trouble (most beginner UK player build too few MMs even tough it should the main a priority of its build) or not that much.

You should also have an understanding with you opponent that the Fins will not enter the Soviet occupied Finnish hexes before the war. Right now they can as no fix has been found yet. If I recall correctly it has changed but a while ago. In my first games, one needed a certain number of points in France, but it was changed to automatic mid-June.

And one or two coast forts near El-Alamein can also help as they protect against all land attacks. Yu can make it a bottle neck, even more so with shore support if needed and/or possible.

Because by splitting units, you get "extra units" you can send to Cyprus and still keep the required numbers in Egypt, Palestine, Jordan.

Can we not forbid it only if you already owned the beach last turns. So you could land multiple times the same turn (the invasion turn)?

Or maybe just forbid landing on a own beach if the connected full hex is also owned? This way one could still reinforce an invasion "stuck" for now but not its ...

If I recall correctly, by design only the first air attack per turn on a unit can also remove strength points (kill steps). All others will only reduce efficiency/readiness.
