An early thought of what I need to do first.

Distant Worlds 2 came out in March 2022, and I have tried several times over the past 4 years to create mods for this game.

I used to get help from a guy here called Q, who was a great source of information... but then he left before I had gotten everything I needed to do this mod.

Well, I did ...

Development of the mod is going well and so far I have 4025 Star Wars races with portraits that can be added to the mod.

Still working on how to name these characters...... For example there could be a hundred different species in the Tatooine system alone. Jawas, Tusken Raiders and humans are ...

As there's no 'thanks' button on this forum I'll say thank you here for uploading this mod. Most appreciated.

I am slowly deconstructing the research tree from the standard research items and once this is finished I will begin adding in the research tree more in tune with the Star Wars Universe.

The number of images I have available for Star Wars characters is now at 3967 different characters created by AI with more still being added daily.

I am still looking at how best to add all of these character's into the mod.

Early stages of development of this mod is working on the races that will be found on planets on this Star Wars galaxy.......

My next challenge will be to rename these images and give them names of thousands of races in the Star Wars galaxy

One of the 3855 characters who may appear in this mod as a pirate or bounty hunter......

Not sure what file is missing.....

Go to steam , right click Distant Worlds Universe and then select properties.
Click installed files and then click Verify integrity of game files.

This will reinstall any files that are missing.

If this did not work, what mods are you using?

So far added a lot of new systems that were on the map and have almost completed the northern part of the Deep Core, of the Core Worlds, of the Inner Rim and from the Expansion Region.... illustrated with a red dot in the map below when processed on my spreadsheet which will be used the create the ...

Work is progressing daily on this mod...... currently working on creating the star systems file which of course is what you see in the map in the game.
