<t>One last thought... if we're to really embrace this idea of allowing players full information of what's happening to guide where they are to go in campaigns then we'd need a screen to summarize progress regarding points achieved vs. opponents score. It would also give what level of victory player ...

I, for one, would vote to have a file included that would provide the decision tree. I agree with your basic premise that it would take away from the experience if someone used it appropriately but I feel that's a users choice. The inverse of this is I now have a game where I ...

I've also seen both the issues around first round limited ammo but after that full loads. Don't know how hard it would be to fix with resources clearly focusing newer games and all but this would be really cool to resolve.

Yah Tombstone... can we get our hands on this one? You said something about 80% done, when do you think it will be completed. By the way I really like the big campaigns and enjoy the feature of few replacement points.

<t>Wow... I think a feature of increasing map size based on core force points would be awesome. I like to pick a big force to use lots of different units in combination but inevitably end up with a battle where the units stretch from side to side. Personally I'd rather have the default always be the ...

<t>As an interesting side note, the first time I ran into this was when I captured all of the hexes but one and was chasing down some crews that had made it almost to the back row. All of a sudden I ran into about two dozen mg team's with about the same number of AT guns. Clearly not what is ...

<t>On a separate but related topic... having thought about this some more (and played some this weekend) I also think the end of turn messaging about how many enemy units are retreating should be removed. I find this info helps me understand how effective artillery is and/or the enemies condition in ...

<t>So, it sounds like the suggestion is after a artillery strike to not show the casualty figures but if someone gets up and runs in the line of sight and is spotted that appropriate. If that's what is suggested I agree.<br/>

AlR, could you please provide a little more detail on how you change who you're fighting using the editor? I've wondered how to do this for quite some time and haven't heard it was possible.

Thanks!

Hey Grumble... I have a real smile on my face here... have you ever watched BBC... I think they have a audience litmus test of about five expected viewers for their programing.

Paul,

Not to game the system or anything but if firing weapons results in additional experience does that mean using the "Z" key and firing at a empty square with result in added experience?

<t>Paul's example makes good sense... I have noticed the same originally reported item when there are multiple enemy units in the same hex. What I mean is they are all entrenched, same status, etc... and when I aim at one I get many more hits on the other one or two first. Interestingly if I then ...

<t>On a slightly different topic this reminded me of... at one time it was possible when generating your own campaign (one flag vs. three flags of opponents) to build your own WWII campaign by changing the three flags at the end of the current battle to the new country you wanted to fight.
