Re: Load cost data error?

Ok, I solved it.
The manual says the load cost for these weapons are the effect value times 2.

Load cost data error?

Why are almost all the naval guns listed in my scenario editor have a value of 9999?

I am trying to find the load cost data for all the naval guns on Allied ships.

Re: Best escort altitude for low level naval attacks

If the game doesn't use high level cover, I suppose setting the fighters exactly the same as the bombers is best.

Best escort altitude for low level naval attacks

If I am using bombers at 1000 feet to attack ships, what altitude is best for escorting fighters? Should the fighters be a little above the bombers, the same height as the bombers, the same altitude as the CAP is expected to be at, or higher than the expected CAP? Are there pros and cons to all of ...

Does the A.I. get unlimited fuel on all levels?

Re: Hard difficulty buffs for A.I.

You did not specify what level or if all difficulty levels they got unlimited torpedoes.

Does the A.I. get unlimited carrier sorties on historical difficulty level too?

Re: Hard difficulty buffs for A.I.

So historical level is the only level that is realistic?
I am switching my game to historical, I cant have Jap A.I. carrier groups parking themselves in my front yard and bombing everything in the area for weeks without needing to withdraw!

Re: Hard difficulty buffs for A.I.

This is a big combat bonus for the A.I. on the hard level and extremely unrealistic!!!

I was led to believe the hard level only gave the A.I. a little logistical help only!

Re: Hard difficulty buffs for A.I.

Ok, so the A.I. gets unlimited sorties! Wow that explains it. I have been waiting a long time for a Jap A.I. Carrier TF to run out of sorties then attack it with my surface task forces, but the Jap carriers never ran out of sorties! This ruins the realism playing on hard level! I wish this was ...

Hard difficulty buffs for A.I.

Does the A.I. get any extra sorties over the normal max amount on carriers on hard difficulty?

Does it get any extra fuel for its Carrier TF's on hard level?

Re: TRACOM Instructors

Are 10 instructors needed?
Will less than 10 be helpful?
I have 1 or 2 instructors in TRACOM, would it be better if I waited until I have 10 available to move to TRACOM at the same time, or is it better to send them one at a time as they become available?

TRACOM Instructors

Is there an optimal amount of pilots needed for TRACOM?

What are all the benefits of having a lot of instructor pilots in TRACOM? Does it only speed up training time?

Are all instructors considered equal, or do the very best instructors contribute more?
