<t>All the guys that have spoken out against hex based games have made good points, but there is one point that has been overlooked.<br/>
Love them or hate them but hex/turn based games have developed into a game genre in their own right.<br/>
Ok, they came about by necessity in pre computer days ...

<t>You know. Up until a couple of weeks ago. I might have agreed with you that rifles were 'underpowered' But not now! You just have to use realistic infantry tactics. Cover and covering fire! Pour as much lead in as you can, not to kill, but to keep their heads down, while you move in guys under ...

If the tank's buttond up, the commander cannot fire the AAMG, unless its remort controlled as with the Hertzer. The co-ax gun as a rule is mounted on the same elevation spindle as the main gun, that is, it uses the same elevation ...

<t>Look at it this way. You are the Platoon leader. Your troops are spread about, you need to call in your section leaders, brief them on the next objective, give them time to get back to their sections and organize their lads. If they've gone into a defensive position, any heavy weapons will need ...

Count me in too Red. A great idea. I enjoy driving, so would probably drive there, going via teh North Sea Ferry to Holland. So if there's anybody else in the UK, or Holland who'd like the idea, I'll be up for a car share if you are interested.

Idiot needs help with scenario design.

I've looked through the manual, and am sure I've probably looked at what I want to know but can I as hell find teh info I need.

How the hell do I set a hex up as an entry area for troops entering the battle after turn one?

Any help will be greatfully appreciated!

Any plans for a replacement for SteelPanthers?

<t>Hi Guys.<br/>
I was just wondering if you guys at Matrix have any plans for producing a new game to replace Steel Panthers? That is a regimental/battalion level turn based war game covering some aspect of the 20th Centurary?<br/>
I know that you guys are busy with other projects, and that even if ...
