When the computer starts crunching the AI code, press 'z'. That will cancel the message delay.

RE: I have a series of questions

Are there hardcoded HQ transfers in the game? Example: 25th Div transfers from central pacific command to south pacific command. If so, do you get them for free or do you still have to pay PPs for them?

RE: Clarification on Automatic Supply

The pathfinding in general is a little odd. A convoy from Karachi to Sydney drives all the way into the DEI and north around Australia.

I use the big huge oilers (20500) as mobile tankstations. Always try to have one docked at Canton or Palmyra. You avoid spoilage that way to.

RE: Canadians drinking to much beer?

ORIGINAL: Grouchy

You sure it isn't the AI importing Aussi beer?

He, he. Maybe I should make a well escorted convoy from Sydney to the west coast, carrying those important liquids.

RE: Anyone here who wants to buy my Game?

<t> The EU VAT rules when buying over the internet are:<br/>
<br/>
1) If you buy from within the EU, that is if the server is located in the UK. You must pay UK VAT.<br/>
<br/>
2) If you buy from outside the EU, you must pay VAT from your own country.<br/>
<br/>
Please correct me if im wrong ...

RE: How do most people insure that they hve done everything.

I started making this list indexed with the command HQs . Wrote down which bases were important with airgroups, TFs etc. But I soon gave up. If I miss something 1 turn, I hopefully will see the next.

I also think many people will go overboard creating fleets of MLEs [:D]. Also can you still replenish 16" shells at a size 1 port?

Just got finished reading the manual, phew! My poor HP930 is still smoking after the printout. Like many of us im grateful I got UV, very good training for the 'real' game. But there is just so much more.

RE: Screen Resolution/Register

If you have a TFT with a fixed resolution higher than 1024x768, you can try running the game in windowed mode. First make a shortcut directly to the game. Open the preferences to the shortcut and add '-window' in the destination line.

<t> I really hope the ai doesn't suck, that would be a gamekiller for me. Its a shame it doesn't get as much attention as pbem does. A great ai would imo help sell this game to a more non grognard crowd.<br/>

Maybe Matrixgames should consider hiring a dedicated ai programmer to help on all ...
