Computer playing both sides

<t> I would like to run a game of WITP for a couple of years and then take over from one side, let's say from the beginning of 1943 on. So I would like to set "Both Computer" from the start, then interupt in 1943.

When I set "Both Computer" in the main menu, the game runs for 1 turn ...

It is now Late Nov 1861 and I just received L.C. Hunt a 1 star ?/?/?/2/? and G. Mott a 1 star 3/?/?/1/?. What do I do with these guys? As well I have a couple more ...

RE: Siege results crash

I was able to get past the siege bug by loading the last autosave and putting the siege on aggressive on the last turn before the fall.

Maybe this can work for you.

Re-occurring battles

<t> So, two situations have been occuring in my game as Union with advanced and quick combat turned off.

I have captured Tennessee Mississippi river, but left no troops in it. I have an army in the Delta, besieging to Confederate forts.
There is a Confederate division in the ...

RE: Submarine in Quick Battle

It appears that once the Union gets teh upgrade it is relevant for all combat.

Would you like a save?

Where do it send it?

RE: Submarine in Quick Battle

An upgrade to the Union Army?

In a land locked province?

I have seen it many times, do not know the effect os I do not know how serious it is.

Please explain how this makes sense.

You are right in the fact that the Calhoun/Colhoun (spelling found in different sources, but both refer to APD-2) was converted to APD-2 and recommissioned in Dec 1940.
Sid was refering to the fact that she was not available on May 1, 1942. He is right, The Calhoun ...

I think that you should look into this a little more. Were talking about 1942 not 1944-45 when the US had many types of APD's. Big ones, little ones, some could carry equipment, some could not.

During the early period of this game APD's carried troops and supplies ...
