[More Info Needed] Stuck in Plot Course (tomahawk) mode

Manual select fire tomahawks, plot course for the weapon, then F3 (or any other key) will not take game out of that mode. Im stuck with a plot course cursor.

The problem happens more often when multiple targets are in the target list.

RE: Towed array sonars

Yup. Ship is limited to 30 degree turns until array is straight (in real life). Also, 15 degree blind spot where cable is connected to hydrophone array.

RE: Weapon range rings--what do they mean?

<t> Limiting the range to 6nm for a Mk48 ADCAP is...silly, and pretty much defangs the whole U.S. sub fleet. Mk48 ADCAP can be fired at slow run speed, below the layer, and the target will not detect it until it too late. The target may NEVER detect it if its set to run passively. Do target ...

Hmm, why wasn't this game designed to run full screen so full DirectX graphic settings would take over? Running this windowed on the desktops is so....1980s.

<r> I see a sub in the Persian Gulf in this screenshot (first one on the page). Are the rings around it suppose to be covergence zones?<br/>
<br/>
The Persian Gulf is too shallow to produce covergence zones, surface duct or bottom bounce is all you gonna get in that enviroment. <br/>

RE: Pricing Suggestion

<t> Matrix have several games priced like this, I would buy them all...but not at this price. And Matrix never lower their prices either, so I will never buy these games. I was playing harpoon in the nixie room 20 years ago, and they're still selling it here for 70 bucks. It a rickety 20 year old ...

Sticker Shock

Don't take this the wrong way, but your games are a tad expensive.

Theres quite a few games, some of them rather...old, that I have considered purchasing, but your prices scare me away every time.

I'm really confused. Whats the difference between the new 8.20 and this 7.X version? And which one is more up to date???

Scenario Request

I'd like to see a scenario #17 in which the battle of Midway HAS happened. I can't find any long campaigns where Midway is assumed to have occured.

Ok, how about 8 (thats eight) cruisers being sent to the bottom, or completely crippled (to sink later) in a nighttime surface engagement against two BBs and some escorting DDs and cruisers.

I think I sunk one destroyer, and damaged some of the other ships.

Subs Attacking On Surface (not happening)

<t>Since about version 1.20 or so, I have not seen any sub attacks on the surface against unescorted transports and non-combatants. <br/>

I understand people have seen them attack barges on the surface, but I would like to see them still hitting unescorted transports on the surface as well ...

Yup

I played PTO I (by Konami on Nintendo) until my eyes bled. Fun game, and one I would still play if it weren't for the mind numbing music, and the fact I have UV now.

Subs Aren't Attacking on Surface

<t>Post patch. If they aren't going to fire a shot on the surface, why do they keep sticking their heads up for an attack in the sub screen? All this against unescorted transports even. <br/>

Hmmm

Some are more intilectually inclined than others.

Not enough detail in my opinion. Many things are still abstracted. If you can't handle the game, how would one handle the realities of being a task force, or even fleet commander. (I'm up for it if the pay was'nt so shitty).

Reccomended reference book

I would reccomend getting "Janes Ships of WW2". I stumbled across this at Media Play, and was shocked at the wealth of information in it. Its around 50 dollars. (I even found the Argonaut in it).
