I've noticed this and wondered what that unit had done to make the Allies so angry that they got specifically targeted for months of airstrikes. I'm pretty sure that at Lae it was some kind of pioneer unit.

I'd play seven day turns if my TF commanders were collectively smarter than a box of rocks. As long as I've got commanders with single digit IQs I'm playing one or two day turns.

I do it sometimes. More often as the IJN than the Allies.

Anything to save a few VPs.
