Historical term "flattop" question.

<t> Discussing Battle of Coral Sea with my fellow Russian history buffs. We ended up mired in the origins of the term "flattop". Some say before the term was coined by LCDR Robert E. Dixon radio message "scratch one flattop", "flattop" was only used in reference for the flattop crew haircut favored ...

RE: One click away from buying. Printed manual question

Bought boxed version. Got it installed, looks like a whole new game, definitely need to read manual to play this one. Price is alright, considering I had to pay $60 for KOEI's P.T.O. SNES version back in 94, according to inflation calculator it equals to $90 nowadays.

One click away from buying. Printed manual question

Hello grognards. I am about one click away from buying this game (original UV and WITP player myself). Real curious about the quality of the printed manual, is it worth getting one, and considering all the resent game updates, is it up-to-date?

Suppose you just send that leader to some dangerous invadable planet, or place your leader aboard ship, then scrap it.

RE: Fleet stuck retrofitting. Need help.

<t> Actually that was a captured base, in an asteroid field. Figured, its best to scrap them as soon as they're discovered. Now I have two newly captured capital worlds with huge traffic jams, one has 140 ships waiting. I just built from scratch large spaceport for one of them, dint help at all.</t>

Fleet stuck retrofitting. Need help.

<t> Doing another retrofit to my fleets. Ordered my fleets to retrofit. My 3rd fleet is stuck retrofitting in some small starport. I tried to move my fleet out of there, because its not retrofitting at all. Fleet is not moving, and there is no way to cancel retrofit order for that fleet. Had my game ...

<r> Heh yeah most of ww2 looks good except "enemy at the gates", medieval or something "swordesque" sadly Lord of the Rings probably looked the best. Also here's fine massive melee footage, thats most likely how barbarian bands clashed, enjoy:<br/>

RE: Kursk

<t> heh most people here in Russia believe it was US submarines which caused that accident, not to forget the canceled debt and that "LA" class submarine which barely made it to Norwegian port. And yeah sure makes Putin look real cold in this one, but then probably Kremlin only keeps Kursk tradegy ...

Yeah all controversial in Asia, cant really side with anyone, one side forces Chinese to grow opium, another side commits rape of Nanking and third doesnt honor any agreements.
