RE: Out of pilot slots

<t> I agree with Damian, 1 million pilots is ridiculous. Hording planes and pilots in the backwaters is not how wars are fought. If the USA fought WW2 like that they would still be on North America with 10 million planes and pilots and an unconquered Germany and Japan. When they started getting ...

RE: CS to CVL conversion

This is what I found in my notes guys. Conversions for the Chitose and Chiyoda are November. The Mizuho and Nishin are December. You need to have a minimum shipyard size of 50. And for the Chiyoda and Chitose you need to be in Tokyo.

RE: Latest update?

Version 1.0.4.1106i is the last official update and you have it. Michael doesn't recommend using the beta patches for ongoing PBEM games. I'd say you guys are good Rev Rico, besides I think Michael is getting tired of releasing Betas and we're going to get an official patch soon.

RE: Japanese Type 3 Mine Device

<r> The Type 3 Mine is an Japanese air dropped drift mine von Tirpitz. I couldn't find any aircraft that carry it in the stock 2 scenario but you can open up the editor and define aircraft to carry it. Below is a link to an old thread discussing it.<br/>

I always use the map Floyd and I agree this would be a nice feature to be able to track the ships. Thank you Floyd and Damian for all the wonderful work you've put into Tracker.

<t> It's not actually moving back fcharton, it will actually march all around the hex if it finds a valid hexside it can enter from behind. Having the unit set to move instead of combat could also have caused the unit to find the safest way into the hex so to speak. It is very important to check the ...

Non parenthesis means how many Manpower centers, Heavy Industry centers, Light Industry centers, etc. you have producing.
Parenthesis means how much you have stockpiled as CV 2 said.

RE: Increasing CAP flights

Your Mistake was to set them to Long Range Cap. You should have just left them on Escort with 100% Cap set. That should give you at least 40 to 45 fighters ready to meet the strike.

"Note the mission printed next to the training level. If the training level mission was same as the primary one (ie Escort in this case), then it wont print the extra mission."

Thank you Michael, that little added touch helps clear up any confusion.

They don't call it WITP Allied Edition for nothing. Train, Train, Train, thats all the bonus that's left for the Japanese. Make sure your pilots are better than his or you'll get shot down in droves.
