RE: How Many Copies Sold?

The problem is I have spent years of my Life playing War in the Pacific and know I do not have the time right now to get started. This game will have to wait till I retire, though I will buy it after Christmas when I can afford it.

RE: Support for Windows 7 64 bit

I am not encouraged by this thread because people claim WITP and AE run on 64 bit Windows 7 but I never could get them to work. The map never displayed correctly. It may be something wrong with my graphics card but all Paradox Games I have run great.

Looking forward to the game

I am looking forward to the game and the chance to defeat Germany earlier than 1945.

64 bit Windows 7 Dell

Neither WITP or WITP AE will run correctly. When I press the Scenario Selection Button nothing happens. I do not know if it is the video card DUAL 512MB ATI Radeon HD 4550 (2 cards 2 DP & 2 DVI) or the operating system.

250 support enough?

Am I correct in assuming 250 airsupport personnel are enough no matter how big the base or how many the planes?

47th BG in LA, March 6th 1942

I had a group of 50 havocs in 47th BG, Los Angeles. I switched them from West Coast to USAFFE (hQ in Manila). It cost 200 precious Political points. Now they wont load onto a transport(s) and they wont move anywhere. What gives?

convoys dispand themselves

COnvoys at San FRancisco dispand themselves w/o my assistance. I create them, set the destination. Next turn, I find them resting comfortably in port. I thought it was caused by auto resupply, but I turned that off for all bases and the same thing keeps happening.

INDEPENDENT Command

<t> I flew my dauntless bombers from my carrier to Austrailia, then back onto the carrier after a few turns. I noticed the command says "Austrialia Command" instead of "Independent" like the other bombers and planes. I tried to change it but there is no "Independent" selection. What am I doing wrong ...

Moving Chinese with China set to AI

I want to move a Chinese Corps to help defend Burma. I have China set as Computer Control. Will this be possible? Must I change the whole theater to my control?

British Borneo

Studying the map, i noticed that before the war there was a British Borneo (Sarawak and N. Borneo). In the game I do not see British bases there. Was some deal made for the dutch to take over?
