Battle reports / Am I the only one that thinks this is a good idea?

<t>I sure wish that you could get a battle report summary at the end of a turn without having to have the "Battle Reports enabled" turned on DURING the turn (If you don't have them enabled then no Battle Report is available at the end of the turn).<br/>
It seems redundent to have to 'click' through ...

How many sold

Are there any numbers out there on the number of UV units that have been sold.
I'm just wondering how big the serious wargamer neighborhood is.
How many units must be sold to make these guys a profit, and urge them to keep making these EXCELLENT games.

Re:

rjr, thanks for the info.

I sure would like to have some of those 100+ bomber raids that I see posted though.

I guess that you just have to have a lot of 12 plane groups!

Air group limits

<t>Am I doing something wrong here?<br/>
I try to get my bomber gruop numbers up to 24 units per group but the next day they go back down to about 12.<br/>

I have been disbanding small gruops to create larger ones. Usually when I have a couple of groups consisting of two or three ...

Re

I've experienced similar problems because the transfer screen will allow you to transfer more aircraft to a carrier than it's maximum compliment. The next turn the extra planes are gone.

Spotting

How is it that I know that a spotting aircraft saw me? Maybe he didn't see me; maybe I didn't see him etc. etc.

I should only know what I know, not what I think that I know that you know that I know you know, I think.

<t>This is a wonderful 'what if' senario... However, aren't we just turning the clock back to WWI. (No effective planes, torpedoes or radar?) This would just be modernizing the gun platforms so to speak. The naval doctrine for the first world war must exist somewhere though.<br/>

<t>I can't move a portion of an air group! This is frustrating when it comes to loading out carriers, especially CVE's.<br/>
<br/>
Does Matrix plan on allowing us to create new airgroups or split airgroups into smaller numbers for the purpose of transfering aircraft to CVE's.<br/>

Looks to me like the only real hits (low scores) were in the area of graphics. Who needs graphics anyway, the real challenge is in the strategy and playability.

Great game. My score is a 9.5

Splitting Air Groups Question

<t>I recently received two CVE's with no aircraft attached but with a capacity of 27 aircraft each. I had two available air groups to transfer to the carriers. Air group 'A' consisted of 27 Zeros and air group 'B' had 27 Vals (coincidence) . <br/>
I could not find a way to split the air groups so ...

Please explain "Withdraw & disband"

I don't understand the 'withdraw' and 'disband' airgroup options.

What are the pro's and con's of these options.

Looks to me like the withdrraw just combines similar aircraft.

Please help..................

Re;

<t>Sorry about the post location,<br/>
<br/>
I hope this is a problem that can be resolved in the next patch.<br/>
I know that air groups were and should be able to be transfered a bit at a time. This may not keep the unit integrety but it may be required at times. <br/>
No offense to point luck ...
