<t> Yes, thankfully operation "pull your finger out" managed to sort things. With some valuable help from members on the forum I managed to get the old beast working again.<br/>

<t> Hi Lecivius;<br/>

Welcome to the mammoth effort that is writing a WitP AAR.<br/>

A few thoughts:<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
Firstly, completely agree with 2nd ACR, go back to your opponent and change the rule that you can only attack with 1 Div at a time. On atolls this will ...

RE: An Epilogue

<t> As anyone who plays me knows, if I think I am on top I really try and put the boot in. I tried this in Malaya, as Herb writes, attacking with only the Brits. My thinking was that the Americans had thumped all hell out of the combined fleet and I had been tearing strips out of the Jap airforce ...

Hi RAM
&nbsp;
I've had this happen as well - it can be very nasty indeed.

As an addendum. I wouldn't be surprised if the bombardment TFs had reverted to SCTFs after bombarding. Can't say for sure of course

<t> Yep Brian's bang on the money. I did have a surface combat TF but had converted it to a bombardment TF the turn before. It retired to reload. The bombardment TFs had done this and were returning to unleash on the base again.<br/>

RE: how do you beat the CD gun/minefield combo?

<t> Hi Herwin<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
yeah Brian is complaining about the pilot quality now - flak has been the killer rather than fighters in the stock game. He had a naval strike of about 110 betties and nells, against AKs and APs unloading, and only managed 7 torp strikes. So obviously the pilot ...
