Command & Control

This has probably been asked before, so I apologize in advance.

Are there any command & control rules in the game? Like for routing supply or controlling movement. Its been a long time since I played the original and I have forgotten what role the HQ's play in the game.

liquidation

<t> After 35 years in the hobby I am selling off what is left of my collection of magazines, magazine games, and boxed games. I know some of these items are selling for alot more on ebay, but I'm not really interested in making any money here. I just do not want to have to toss any thing in the ...

RE: seize the allied core

<t> IIRC, my opponent and I had fought a series of prior carriers engagements in which I came out on top. So I did not have to worry too much about Allied naval airpower leading up to the invasion. Land based airpower was another matter. I believe I landed in Rockhampton in November 42 in two runs ...

RE: seize the allied core

<t> Hello, I won an auto vitory against a human opponent by capturing and holding onto to Rockhampton. It wasn't easy and it was very costly. I put over 100k troops in Rockhampton. My opponent could not dislodge them, so it was a matter of me supplying them. Like I said, it wasn't easy and it was ...

RE: Sergeant v. Wissooner (Scn #12)

As Sergeant's opponent I must say that he played well for a newcomer. This is a fantastic game and I throughly enjoyed this match. Sergeant and I are reversing sides in Scen. #17 and I look forward to another victory.

RE: looking for a game

<t> Well, I have experience playing the Japanese and only just started scen. #12 as the allied player. Other than #12, I've only played the long campaigns. If you have already been messing around with the game for a while than one of the long scenarios is probably the way to go. So if you are ready ...

RE: anyone looking for opponent?

Ok Sergeant, I'll take the Japanese. Pick a scenario and your preferences and get back to me and I'll get a turn off to you. And yes, the Jap player has to send replay and text file to the USN player. The USN player needs only to send the text file back.

RE: Bombers cant attack task force ?

Delb, you have no control over naval targetting preferences. It's up to the AI which naval TF is targetted, if at all. This has been a hot topic for discussion on this board in the past.

<t>I've been playing this game for the better part of a year now. I currently have 4 PBEM games in progress and I enjoy the game immensely. The game is, to be sure, not without its problems (bugs). I for one have at one time or another experienced almost every bug mentioned in this forum and yet I ...

not me, I just take my lumps and keep playing - not many AI good enough to beat a competent human player in most games anyway, so not sure why anybody would want to handicap it even more -

looking for opponent

<t>I've had the game for several months playing against the AI, but I'm looking to play my first PBEM game. Prefer either #17 or #19, also I will play either side on any settings. Can play 1 or 2 turns on the days I work, many more turns all other days (central time zone) Anyone interested just PM ...
