RE: Big Battle

<t> Sgt Strauch reports the northern VH's have been secured. For how long is anybody's guess. Heavy losses up there due to long range tank and ATG fire. We are trying to push back the scouting units.<br/>
<br/>
Southern VH's report the smoke screen opened up some room for movement. No push for VH ...

Big Battle

<t> It is I, the unknown German leader, versus the reputable VikingNo2. My orderly reports that the date is 8/1944 (amazing how drinking helps you forget the date--orderlies are invaluable for reminding you of these little facts), visibility is roughly 1100 meters (vis 22), and the battle is ...

My First PBEM - mike etc vs. mine_field

<r> original title stated that it was a first for both of us. I was wrong.<br/>
<br/>
We are currently in the fourth turn, and while I could give a minutiae report with humor thrown in, I'll just give the interesting and the flow for now. Mike may be up here to elaborate and taunt me.<br/>

<t> Well I'm getting better. Many of my concerns have been overcome with patience, experience, and the indispensable advice of this board.<br/>

RE: Tanks towing ATGs?

Considering some tanks were altered to tow other tanks off the battlefield, I would think they would have the hauling capacity to tow the guns. No clue about the popularity of towing a gun though.

RE: New Purchase Options for the Mega Campaigns

I just went to the E-store. I could find all the MC's seperately easy enough, but I don't see this general's edition. Is it still for sale?

RE: Yag-6 Truck

<t> Ok so if the tank isn't on the truck, then it is dragging it somehow? Is that what you mean by 'pulling it off the line'? If it is not supporting the weight of the tank, then I'm assuming the tank's tracks are in contact with the ground. If this is so, then the yag-6 truck is not only having to ...

PBEM form remarks

<t> Looks pretty good. Personally I would like to see this as something that could be posted easily to the board (without having to download), but since the board doesn't support HTML this is the best option (since the board does support .doc downloads).<br/>

There are two schools of thought. One is to keep your HQ and FO back in a safe position so that you don't risk losing them and their help. The FO is able to call in artillery faster than other units, so having him in ...

Hey mike ect,
I'm looking for my first game, pbem or online. Was trying to find the version, but all I can find is the v8.0 on the game screen. It should be up to date though. I'll probably drop you an email.

RE: Insubordination!

Any luck if you purchase an inf HQ and assign the units to it?
I don't follow 100% so sorry if this is irrelevant.
I have noticed the mess created in a long campaign by manipulating organization even without C&C on.

more too much spare time

<r> This method is, of course, intended when you don't have additional information. It is obvious that it is easier to look for smoke, or even better than that, just have a LOS so that you can see the unit.<br/>
