Re: West Front LCG - Operation Sealion

We did a brief overview of the latest news for the Campaign Series. After that we dove back into the Operation Sealion Linked Campaign. We ended wrapping up scenario 7, finished scenario 8 and started scenario 9. Unfortunately we had a minor loss for the scenario 8, it was such a hard scenario which ...

Re: Campaign Series Vietnam - YouTube

We're making excellent progress in the Dien Bien Phu number six scenario. The French are dug in well and are causing mass casualties, but we managed to turn around the victory conditions from a major defeat to a major victory. It's still pretty early yet, so I am curious to see if there will be a ...

Re: The Long Nigh - Battle of LZ 27V Question

Yes, I should change it, but that it was intended to make the pressure for the player by giving a misleading coordinate.

I'm mean, but nice sometimes. *laughs*

Re: Blank background when starting a scenario

Oh wow, I had no idea.

I'm using a 3080Ti and don't have any issues. I assumed it was using the card. *laughs*

Thank you for your patience and persistence.

You might have to try the following:

After it has installed, use Windows Explore to browse to your John Tiller's Campaign Series folder

Locate and select a file named "autorun.exe".

Press the right mouse button and select "Properties".

Click on the "Compatibility" tab.

Tick the ...

Re: Blank background when starting a scenario

On the lower right hand side of the desktop, do you have an NVIDIA App?

If so, try turning off the NVIDIA overlay.

Re: West Front LCG - Operation Sealion

We went over a brief overview of the progress on Cold War and the latest news in regards to the pending BETA releases of the CS Vietnam and Middle East UPDATES. Then we dove back into the chaos of the invasion of England. We had a simple task of pushing into to Ironside Line, which is the largest ...

Thank you for pointing that out!

There is a new update in the works, it should be available for BETA in a week or two!

I will include this fix in there.

Re: Campaign Series Vietnam - YouTube

This was a session about preparing for massive assaults. We attempted to probe into the French defences and try to make some progress with our encirclements of the primary French positions. It was a hard fight today and our Viet Minh soldiers were suffering a lot of casualties. It was a very good ...

Re: West Front LCG - Operation Sealion

After a brief update on all that is the Campaign Series, we dove into the next scenario for the John Tiller's Campaign Series West Front Operation Sealion Linked Campaign Game. Our task this scenario was to force a crossing across the River Medway to the west of Maidstone. It was a brutal fight as ...

Re: The Long Nigh - Battle of LZ 27V Question

Hmm, at one point I had that map having a few more "dirt road" hex sides that helped the transit of the APC's.

To collect the event points, you need to get to within 4 hexes of 12,53. That's the main area to aim for. Since there are 15 turns, without the extra couple/few dirt road hexsides, it ...

Re: Campaign Series Vietnam - YouTube

Well that was an interesting session today. After the usual Campaign Series briefing we finished up with the Dien Bien Phu 5th scenario. Upon successful completion of that, we started a brand new challenge with the Dien Bien Phu 6th scenario. This is a bit longer one and we are now playing back as ...

Re: John Tiller's Campaign Series - Update V. 2.05.00 is out now

Good day

I don't believe that feature has been around since 2.01, since around 2013.

Either way, you can still randomly generate maps by selecting the battle generator, select a large size battle and adjust the map based on the selections. There no sliders, but you do have the options of what you ...
