Clarification on AD (Destroyer Tender)

I have guides that say ADs can repair and rearm destroyers but what I have seen so far indicates only torpedoes. Can an AD rearm the 5inch gun on destroyers too? (I might be getting confused and confusing myself to where I don't understand what I'm seeing)

The situation:
o Playing with version 1.126a
o My custom scenario is from around 2010/2011

I'm beginning to think that:
o The scenario is using the old 2010/2011 map
o The game itself is using newer AI scripts and causing AI problems with map differences

This is what I have Version 28. The five dat files are in the main War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition folder.

- pwhexe.dat (9/8/2010)
- pwzlink.dat (4/18/2009)
- pwzone.dat (4/18/2009)

I believe that once you create the new scenario by copying the old one, you can use witploadAE to export csv files from that scenario. You can modify those csv files then reimport them and update the scenario.

Instructions:

WITPloadAE version 9.0

What about map differences? My scenario is pre 2015 so I'm sure it has an older map. If I create a NEW scenario bases off of a stock scenario provided with the game that the new scenario will be using a newer map version?

With the new patch I looked at my test unit in slot #2861 from my copy of the grand campaign scenario.

Here is what I found still:

1) It shows the symbol for a HQ but it says it's an ENG unit

I set up a situation in the scenario editor where I cleared all the attached units to an Infantry HQ so that no units were using that unit as a primary. Then in a smaller unit cleared out it's attachment to its primary unit.

Merge Crash

I might be trying to do the merge wrong. Once it crashed the first time I tried it with all the options and each one crashed to the desktop on me. If what I was trying wasn't possible it should at least notify me instead of crashing.

Yes, you just save your old .exe as a .bak file and paste the new .exe into your folder. If you are playing PBEM, then both players have to use the same .exe file.

When I had to reinstall because of a system crash and moving up to Windows 11 I completely reinstalled from the CD version and then up to version 1.8.11.26a and the most recent manuals in the manuals folder that I have is from 2009.

Hotkeys

My printed manual and my PDF manuals all seem to be from 2009. I know there's more hotkeys than is listed because I stumbled on someone mentioning the 6 hotkey.

Is there a list anywhere of current hotkeys? Or at least what hotkey - if any - will show all air radius circles at the same time?
