RE: IJN June 10 update

Just a thought Chickenboy,
You can turn the guns off individually on a ship to prevent them from firing ........ So your BB loading dilemma is solved ..... just Turn off the 18's for a day :)

Ah Tracker ...... as my AI games are previousely with the Allies i guess I should download and learn Tracker.
You guys seem to overwhelmingly reccomend it to get a handle on the Empire's economy.

Naval Suport

<t> I'm finding it hard to track down units that supply NS for the Japanese (trying out my first AI game as the dark side) and was wondering if there was a way to narrow it down other than to go through the land units individually.<br/>
I see on the List All Ground units menu AV listed ....would be ...

<r> Awesome CF,<br/>
I feel another great saga in the making.<br/>
I have to make a small correction though, USS Gridley was made at the Fore River Shipyard (Owned by Bethlaham Steel) in Quincy, Massachusettes. My Grandfather worked in this yard most of his life <E>:)</E>. Other Vessels made there ...

Nice catch,
also wondering how many bomb hits from the TBF's at 1000? 19 bomb hits total, but only 14 1000lber's were dropped from SBD-3's. 30 500lber's were dropped from tbf's.

RE: House rules and gameyness

<t> I believe the house rules used over the years came under some serious scrutiny when AE was made. I am an old AI player but I frequent the AAR's alot and noticed some of the HR's commonly used in the old WITP came over to be incorporated into the AE engine. Like the limit of ASW task force size ...

RE: Aftermath

<t> Sorry for that massacre of CV's CF. That must have been a tough turn to watch. What LBA assets did you have and how were they dispositioned, and do you think they could have made a difference? (I believe there is a 20% cap limit over CV TF's themselves). I imagine that this helps him choke the ...

Sub Limitations

<t> Not to be a fly in the ointment,<br/>
Just want to know why subs have a limited reaction of 1 when thier prey can move 2 hexes.<br/>
Subs would detect convoys and then race ahead on the suface to get to a better fire position and then submerg and wait.<br/>
so shouldn't the max reaction range ...

is it the same turn or the next turn?
I notice that basically you can only give 1 mission per turn.
The transfer would make anything else moot.

Zace
4 hexes from the searching base has 360 coverage?
I only read in the manual that concentrated searches have a higher probability of detection than a 360 search.
Where did you get that info from?
