RE: Stldiver (allied) vs SamCole (japan) Shock and Awe is promised

Don't think that because I do not take what I think is unfair advantage of the first turn movement bonus that I am not aggressive. I made the first turn that I advertised I would do.

RE: Hints on using #48 combined with #67

This was in answer to why no one commented on item #69 posted by Dan Bowen.

Well, I printed the notes that came with the patch and it only goes up to item #63. That could be a problem with the response to ones higher than 63.

RE: OK, a real question

Except that my surface combat tfs would not fire any shells at the PTs. So the assumption is that one non PT with a bunch of PTs would allow all of the PTs to be invisable and not targetable.

RE: CHS Allied opponent sought

<t> then it looks like we are a go. I will also state, that I will not invade Russia, and on turn 1 I will not use the first turn bonus move to try and grab bases far away. I expect to play a reasonably good game but I will try to play within the real life capabilities that Japan had. Also, I will ...

CHS Allied opponent sought

<t> I have 2 CHS PBEMs running now and would like to add a third one. I am only interested in one of the CHS senarios and preferrably 155( The two above are 157 ), but I will consider one of the others. And as the title indicates, I will be playing the glorious forces of Japan.<br/>

Do what you want. If you put them together, get used to troops not having supplies

RE: Supply not unloading during invasion....

<t> I have seen this lately. I have assault TFs with APs loaded with troops and AKS loaded with ONLY supply. If I leave the TF together, the supplies from the AKs will not unload until the troops have debarked from the APs. If you put the AKs into their own TF, then they should unload at the same ...

The disadvantage to your opponant is that by mixing non-PT boats in with the PT boats your AC will now attack both. PT only TFs can only be straffed by fighters. If they are mixed with any other ships they will be attacked like a regular ...

thank you all, I will ask that he refrain from this practice and if he doesn't, the game goes forward. It is not a game breaker for me and I will have to work around it.

OK, a real question

<t> I am playing a PBEM as Japan. My opponent has done something and <br/>
I think there is an exploit in it. I just do not know what it is. I am not<br/>
that worried about it but I want to understand what advantage he is trying<br/>
to gain. As far as I know, we do NOT have a house rule against ...

RE: Transporting oil to Oz

Heavy Industry ( HI ) will produce one supply and on fuel if it has enough oil and resources. Oz has enough resources but is short on oil. By taking oil to Oz you actually get a two to one benefit. Plus, you convert those resources to supply using TKs which you have lots of.

RE: Enemy approaching

PzB, remember that Andy's tests ( and some of mine ) showed that Radar was a huge factor. He has lots of excellent Radar in the area.

As for the oil, I don't think he needs is, he is just interested in killing as many supplies as he can.

RE: New Computer => Avoid CTD

To be honest, I think most CTD are caused by faulty drivers and Codex's. Be careful what programs endup installed on your new computer. Some of them install faulty or incomplete support drivers.
