RE: Routing warp?

I have emailed my save game. It is the beggining of turn 3.

Is it possible that the town in hex 82,107 is really a port? (the town east of Odessa)

I am also seeing these units warp out of a pocket near Odessa. I can send my saves if you would like me to.

RE: Someone explain to me again why CV is reduced for isolated unit?

<t> To say every single pocket surrenders within a week without exception simply isnt a true statement. I often see pockets last more then one turn. It also depends on how much is thrown against them. Even without pockets the german cango nearly any place he wants the first summer. He just cant go ...

FWIW I still think its too slow. I think there should be a tangible benefit for a player if he is prepared to risk doubling up rail repair crews. I think 6 hexes per turn for doubled up crews would be a ...

RE: own HQ Displacement

<t> I want some change. It isn't realistic. It is a design issue as much as anything. Just as you can surround an enemy unit in one turn then attack it, it will route out of the pocket because the turn is considered to happen simultaniously (spelling sucks). The units shouldn't displace until the ...

That being said it would be nice if long rail movements went a little faster. It can take several minutes to watch a stacked corp move to their new location.<br/>

RE: The biggest drawback to this game........

<t> I think the orginal poster needs to consider the scale of the game when making a comparision to HOI. This is individual divisions, at times brigades and regiments with 10 miles per hex.<br/>
<br/>
HOI does have individual divisions but it is region based, not hex based.<br/>

RE: Isolation and Supply and Combat

I find it does take several weeks to eliminate either large pockets or well dug in pockets...could be me being new but after completely cutting off leningrad it takes 3-4 weeks. Lvov pocket takes several turns also. Just my 2 cents thrown in.

The "us letter" contains all addendum at the end of the manual...such as HQ needing to be within 20 MPs of a rail head in order for supply buildup to work.

RE: How do I acquire most recent game manual?

I got it! I got it!! Seems the problem was my PDF reader. I thought I had Adobe but I had some other one. Weird.

I downloaded Adobe and it opened fine. I even printed the WHOLE thing up and put it in an empty notebook.

Thanks for all the help guys!
