Your HQs show a checker pattern, whereas the original counter just says “HQ”.

Weather, supplies, fatigue, and % TOE (how close to fully staffed and equipped the unit is) all feed into your combat value.

If you’re dealing with mud is murders your attacking power.
If you suffered a retreat, you might have taken a lot of casualties that deplete your TOE and reduces combat power ...
