Unit scale and command

<r> Looking at some screen shots (in particular, <URL url="http://www.doubleshotdesign.com/Unit.jpg">http://www.doubleshotdesign.com/Unit.jpg</URL>) I noticed that there is a section for "size" which in that particular shot is "battalion". Is this game being designed with a specific manuever unit ...

RE: Mini-Campaign Czechoslovakia vs. Germany 1938

I seem to recall playing this campaign many months ago... maybe even a year ago. I was impressed by it then, and will definitely give this new version a try...

RE: Mafia

Perhaps the demo was not as optimized as the final product?
I run a 1.1 ghz with 768 mb RAM and a ge4mx440 64 mb video card and the full version game runs great.
Really well designed game imo, truly like an interactive movie.

Steel Panthers 3 and Win2k

<r> Forum folks, anyone know of a solution to this problem I'm having with SP3 in win2k?<br/>
<br/>
The game starts up fine, but when loaded to the scenario selection screen, the pointer is seemingly trapped in a small area at the top left hand side of the screen. No matter how I move the mouse it ...

<t>My grandmother got me Avalon Hill's "Bull Run" game for my 9th birthday. When I first looked at the huge box, I thought it was a giant history book (it was a "bookshelf game") which I thought was ok, but I wasn't used to reading books quite that large. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that ...

<r>I disagree entirely with the unstated premise of this poll, which seems to be that accuracy and playability are two ends of the same spectrum. This is not true. <br/>

Elaborate and arcane game mechanics can end up being unplayable AND not accurate, while sometimes relatively simple ...

<r>Charles, <br/>
obviously I'm not on the CL design team, but from what I've read on the CL board, while your exact idea will not be incorporated, there will be a means of having information about enemy units that you have not identified but which have fired on you... <br/>

I think Mr. Vebber ...
