There now only two outs per inning, a batter strikes out with two strikes, and games are only 6 innings long.<br/>

Well, unfortunately then the answer to your original question is "no".

RE: Retiring Players?

You can go into the players' cards and click the "edit bio" button.
&nbsp;
Inside this screen is a button you push to "force retire" a player.
&nbsp;
Hope that helps.

<t> I think if you click on the "lock player on roster" box on the player usage card, I'm pretty sure this means that the computer will not demote that player.<br/>

RE: Createing Extra Players

Why don't you just sign 10 cheap free agents and assign them to your minors?&nbsp; If you say you will never use these players, then it would save time&nbsp;versus "creating" all of those players manually.

2 "little" enhancements I'd like to see

<r> I think that PureSim is an outstanding baseball sim, and I think it works very well as the game stands now, but there are two small enhancements that I think would probably be easy to introduce and could improve management of rosters.<br/>

(1) The minor league rosters are already very ...

<t> What age are the two players?<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
If they're&nbsp;in their mid- to late-30's (or older)&nbsp;that would probably be normal as the game makes it more difficult for older players to stay "fresh".&nbsp; From my observations there appears to be no specific age for this to occur ...

KG Erwin,
&nbsp;
You and Amaroq seem to be correct.
&nbsp;
URett's 40-team league seems to blow my theory out of the water, so it seems as though the "in-season aging model" must&nbsp;be the sole&nbsp;(or at&nbsp;least the primary)&nbsp;culprit.

I am using the 1.38 patch but I elected NOT to use the in-season aging model.&nbsp; (When given the option&nbsp;I elected to use the "original-flavor" version where players only changed ratings at the beginning of the season.)<br/>
