Yes, you can. I usually keep 20000-30000 troops in PM and I only supply Buna. Troops in PM get automatically supplied via Buna. But you need to stockpile enough supplies in Buna. Enough supplies for both of Buna and PM.

<t>I always supply PM via Buna. The secret is that you need to stackpile enough supplies at Buna at least a week before the invasion of PM. Stockpile at least 15000-20000 supplies and wait about a week. And then send invasion troops to PM via sea. Usually the invasion troops get supplied as soon as ...

Poor skippers, lucky skippers

<r>Lucky skippers<br/>
I noticed that skippers never die unless his ships sinks. There has to be some occasion skipper dies or gets wounded so replaced by second in command when his ship gets damaged by enemy TF, subs or airplanes. It also applies to TF commanders.<br/>

I think this is a good idea and should be easy to implement. But altitude setting could be a problem, because I usually use 6000 for naval attack/naval search and 1000 for ASW.

The IJN player should be as aggressive as possible in that time frame. By bid June IJN usually has 10 flattops to 4-5 US.

Which is true under 120% ship commitment. But, under 100% ship commitment, IJN usually has only around 6 carriers by June.

<r>After taking PM I recommend you to go ahead and take Irau and Nevea. In June 1942 Allied force is pretty still weak. Using Irau and Nevea as stepping stones you may try to take Luganville later. <br/>
And don't try to take troops from PM directly. Order troops to move to Buna through Kokoda trail ...

Did it happen in our PBEM game Apollo11? Seems you're trying to send fast transport to PM.:)
I playing two PBEM games as USN now and have no problem with fast transports. They always work fine, although I never tried to send fast trasport to PM.

<t>I use AV for ASW. I usually park them in red dot bases around Shortland or Rabaul and set float planes for ASW at 1000 feet. They are great for the job. <br/>
