But the thing I still confuse is that the percentage is only for one week earlier? What is the difference if I set factories to research one month before and one year before?

Seems if the mode is computer controling upgrade, it will automatically upgrade the old type to new one even I just manually switch it to old one last turn. This is not a good sign because sometimes old types get more and more in the stuck pool. Maybe you want leave some old types on purpose.

But I agree that there is no sense to use that rule to seperate them in the game, since it's just a game and will not really effect the balance of the game~~
