Re: Cavalry units and pursuit

Ok, do you know if there are proper Mountain or jungle units, and do mountain units have a symbol in the editor? I do not know, but you would like some units to be designated mountain and or lights. I did this in my mod by making sure the TOE includes only light equipment types.

Re: Bomb hits and aircraft damage

Do you think that is calculated into the game?? Neat if it was. What I want to know is how multiple damage is handled on planes - like, does it build up?

Re: Cavalry units and pursuit

As a horseman myself... and a military geek - I would say that in most of the terrain on the map it should not be the case, and in addition, not all the units could be mobile enough to take any advantage...In WW2, almost all the time, cavalry was just mounted infantry. Though Cav units were used to ...

Yes, ok, but how - I see nothing in the editor, and agree repair of LI should be max 500.

Re: Existing Game Edit Question

Not sure, but I would say yes for new arriving pilots.

I changed this a lot in my mod, as you can see if you download when it's out. Games in progress changed to the new values. I had no complaints, but then again, the changes were slight.

The big problem in this game is that pilots should be ...

Re: Blue Lines in Editor

There are certain slots in the editor that are best left alone - that's true. I have also fallen foul in the past.
And a few planes seem to have hard-coded weapon load outs that cannot be changed, even if you change them. The game uses the hard-coded for some planes and there maybe other things as ...

Re: Existing Game Edit Question

I would say no to pi9lots unless maybe the unit is not on the map.

Durability yes I think it changes or certainly does at the point of the next upgrade of that ship

Re: Some modding-related questions

Mike

I answered this question - did you see it.

In the editor open the plane unit and you will see some tick boxes for restricted etc ... just untick them all or have the level you want .

Re: Is it possible?

Yes, it's a good mod. Also, have them in mine (LST is a good designer) - new update soon on my mod. Sadly, no improved AI as it has taken 4 years to bring it to where it is now...best to find a reliable human opponent. I think AI is rubbish anyway.

Re: question to all modders

That's easy in the editor - open the air unit and there is a tick box there to make it unrestricted or temp restricted, etc.
assume you have opened the editor?

Re: Updating an Existing Scenario

What changes?

You can change plane data, speed, SR rating etc, but loadouts need a player to downgrade the plane, then re upgrade. Some other data may also need a re upgrade but it does work.

If you add an Allied plane, it will start production regardless of the date it is set for.

You cannot add ...
