RE: WPO '47

What I would really like to see is a mid to late 1930's version. SSI had two (one with and one without carriers) in Greatest Naval Battles 3 (good game BTW) I think that would make a cool mod.

RE: CV strike composition

The part I don't like about this is in late 1944 and 45 the IJN couldn't even get 200 carrier aircraft in the air at once let alone coordinate them

They look like FM-2 Wildcats Note they only have 4 guns and appear to have the larger vertical stab.
If you look and the two pictures alot of details on the port side look to match so I guess USS San Jacinto with FM-2's

RE: Japanese AVs

I believe only CS can operate while at sea, the difference with some IJN AV's were that some had their own air groups, while others had none (similar to the USN) but either way they needed to be in port.

<t> Its a type IX uboat, it has the flat deck, but the U-505 had a big American flag on it after capture ( a very nice idea when you were manning a U-boat in the Atlantic ) My guess being that Brady always manages to find the neatest photos, that this is a picture of a type IX that was loaned to the ...

I also vote for having the option of auto-victory turn offs. If I want to play till the cows come home, why shouldn't I. I won't force you to watch.

Any New Patches in the works....

I have updated to version 1.21. I am going to start a new long campaign but I just wanted to check to see if there are any patched in the works right now? Just didn't want to have to restart next week.

Thanks

I think The US only lost one DD sunk, although many were damaged, the USS Pittsburgh IIRC lost her entire bow!

RE: What New Aircraft would you like to see ?

I would like to see the F8F, the F7F would be nice but it didn't see any action and was not built in large numbers so not having it wouldn't be a game killer..... I would also like to see the US version of the V-1!

Boyington was CO of 214 (the Blacksheep) While he was in the AVG he never commanded it and I believe he actually left the AVG before 12/7/41.
