RE: Computer parts

Ok, I checked the ASUS Probe utility which can monitor temperature levels in the computer. The warning threshold for the processor sensor is about 90 C (200 F) and for the mainboard sensor 60 C (140 F). So 50 C or so inside the case should be no problem.

Get a really good processor. You get much better computer lifetime and value for money if you spend it on a good processor is much better spent than getting excessive amounts of RAM, unnecessary fans etc.<br/>

<t> What on earth are you going to do with all those fans? The only thing they will do is make a lot of noise. Go with simple fans, one for the processor one for the graphics card (usually built in) and one for the power supply (usually built in). <br/>

Oups - now I see why I couldn't find any discussions about this before posting. I forgot to set the time limit for the search properly, so I just searched the last month's posts. Sorry if I reopened an over-discussed and old issue.

RE: Naval attacks using B-17s

I think I will restrict my B17s to ground, port and airfield attacks in the future then. Makes things more difficult I suppose, but it wouldn't be fun if it was easy - wouldn it [;)]

Naval attacks using B-17s

<t> Is it historically correct that B-17s and other large bombers can be used against ships at sea?<br/>
<br/>
As far as I know, they were used mainly to drop huge bomb-loads against industrial areas, ports cities etc, from high altitudes. I though ship attacks would require precision bombing and ...

RE: I won't buy this game without a demo. Why?

<t> I have some experience of developing demo and limited versions of software products, and it is a lot more work than one would think. You can't just remove some parts of the product, you also need to make sure that you can simply upgrade to the full version by adding some files from a full ...

RE: Demo?

There is a demo for the predecessor - Airborne Assault - Red Devils Over Arnhem. (Search the web for "Airborne Assault demo" and you should find it). HTTR is basically an upgraded version of the same game (better AI, graphics and new scenarios), so it should give a fair idea of the gameplay.
