RE: Rail Movement Rate

<t> That still doesn't add up! unless there are three movement phases.<br/>
<br/>
On a sidebar, I've discovered that if you want to move a boatload of troops at once, hit 'set all to follow' and then click 'set all to march' and they will all move the next turn! This trick even works in China ...

RE: ship withdrawl quandary

<t> I discovered by accident that a ship which must withdraw can safely sail thru enemy waters without being attacked! I had a ship on the way back to SF when it went direct instead of safe... right from Australia past TRUK in spring 42... made it all the way to Hawaii unmolested!!!<br/>

RE: B-29 Unit arrivals

I understand about AKVs, rail shipments and all that.

Its just a HUGE inaccuracy unlike most of the game. A B-29 could fly just about anywhere in CONUS from SF.

Just a disappointing facet.

Updates vs withdrawls

<t> <br/>
<br/>
Saw that a RN CV had a withdrawl coming. Sent to to SFO with 2 DDs to get them ready. Had TF set to auto disband, which it did. At the end of the turn it applies the update, sends the CV to the shipyard, and noe it cannot be set to a readiness level so it can withdraw!!<br/>

Floating Drydock basing

I got my first ABSD and sent it to Guam with no problems.

ARD-2 shows up at Portland and cannot go anywhere. SFO & SEA yield a "straits too narrow" message. LA, PH, Guam, etc., yield a base too small message.

What's up?

So, no Al-Can highway, Bridge on the River Kwai, etc.?

With all the rest of the minute details to manage, thats a pretty big detail to miss

Is there any way to force engineer units to do what some of them really did: build roads, improve roads, build railroads, etc?

Convoy Question

<t> I am playing my first game in the new AE. (played several in original) <br/>
I keep getting convoys at Cape Horn, but what good are they?<br/>
<br/>
I don't have enough TK/AKs to impact the supply (999999) so I cannot see it go up or down. The ships in the convoy (usually 50) can't be 'stolen ...

RE: Two Late-War Aircraft Bugs

I have a similar item to #1. My Allied Base points is a negative number. BTW, I haven't downloaded 1.5 or 1.6 yet, as I was so close to winning I didn't want to start over ... just in case!

V_J Day!

Last week I discovered the game will allow one to ignore the victory conditions and go for total victory.

BTW, V-J Day in My Universe was Arpil 27, 1944

Anybody else get this far into the game yet?

RE: How far you got?

Once I finish with the current war, I hope to reply the war as the Jap side. Hopefully, there will be the "Dec 1, 1941-march 1946" version I keep hearing about as I'd like to move on Hawaii with more than just CVs!! How about AB Kaui to keep PH busy?
