RE: VR squadrons (again)

<t> I haven't had any problems with the VR's working like they should. I leave them in the replenishing group and set them to no replacements and manually fill out the planes to max. The reason is if you leave it to no replacements is that you can add planes but it will not add pilots, thus avoiding ...

RE: Submarine placement?

<t> I always place subs in enemy invasion hexs and I concentrate anywhere that he has a mind to invade, I pick off as many ships as I can and if it looks like I am about to loose the island I turn them into transports to take ground units away back to the states, it becomes the main body after teh ...

RE: Tricks to get in more PBEM turns

<t> The best formula that I have used is having on player that works off shift like I do. My opponet is a day shifter so he runs the turn and plans in the evening and then when I get home at midnight I do the replay and play the turn at breakfast, (takes me about an hour to do a turn) and send it to ...

RE: Jap Player running turn multiple times

<t> And the actual problem is a case of sour grapes. If I hadn't had my carriers set having a reaction range they wouldn't have closed within range of his land bases much less his carrier. And after talking to him he had stripped his 8 cv's of all his dive bombers and loaded them with another group ...

Jap Player running turn multiple times

<t> What prevents the japanese player from running the turn multiple times until he gets the best results possible. I have seen in one turn my carriers were in reaction range of his surface force on a bombardment mission and my carriers do nothing. then 2 turns later my carriers react closing twice ...

RE: What happens if British ships don't survive to withdraw

<t> Thanks for the info. And for those that thinks I am an idiot the reason I got bottled up is my very good opponet is doing teh China and India route for the 4x 1942 auto victory. I was trying a forward defense and he managed to get in behind me using map edge movement. In addition I ran until ...

What happens if British ships don't survive to withdraw

<t> I am in Mid 1942 and am required to withdraw 1CV and 2DD's. Problem is KB has me bottled and managed to sink 2 British CV's and 1 CVL before I could reach Karachi. Now what happens??? I don't have the ships to withdraw. Do I continue to lose PP's until another CV arrives in 263 days????? Or will ...

RE: Why won't they fly

I recon everything with PBY's now the targets do not have any AF(0) and no troops and that is the only thing I can see, been at this a month (GT) my real problem is why I don't get any LR Cap over Makin with 2 squadrons of wildcats
