Game Editor?

<t> Thanks for all the hard work, this game looks awesome!<br/>

I was just wondering if you can tell us anything about the game editor if any. I like to play "what-if" scenarios with both sides and this would really scratch an itch.<br/>

RE: Tokyo Rose (?) has been sniffing glue

<r> Although about a dozen english speaking females participated, including a Canadian, the most famous "Tokyo Rose" was Iva Toguri D'Aquino who was an American citizen! She tried to return to the US after the war, was arrested for treason, spent 6 years or so in jail and lived out her life in ...

It looks like a Nakajima engine, I would guess it's a E8N1-DAVE float plane.

RE: USA, Japan and China

<t> IMO Japan got into the Imperialism game with regards to Asia 100 years too late. If they had started "colonizing" at the same time as the US, Spain, the Dutch, Germany and France, no one would have cared because they were all doing it. It doesn't make what Japan later did right, but I can see ...

<t> Maybe the British carriers pointed to the future of carrier designs. The mid-war Jap Taiho CV class had armored decks as did the newer US Essex Class CVs.<br/>

RE: Looking for good pic of F4u plane

<r> The F4U was an outstanding fighter-bomber. IMO, why have dedicated bombers and fighters when one plane can do it all. It was a good dogfighter with four cannons or six machine guns and also carried bombs and rockets. The F/A-18s serving on modern carriers takes this concept of a multirole ...

<t> I vacationed with my wife in Charleston several years ago. The Yorktown was an Essex Class carrier and it was HUGE. RE: So what if the Japs want to stick around Pearl Harbor?

<t> The risk KB took or did not take at PH was Nagumo's decision. Yamamoto expected to lose 2 carriers and Yamaguchi would have scuttled two carriers if they ran out of fuel (ref. Shattered Sword). So when you say it was too risky to hang around PH, you really mean, "Nagumo was too cautious (I would ...

<r> The real question is does this happen <I><s></s>every <e></e></I> raid? A sample size of one does not make for good statistics. I am a little amused by the hysteria when KB spent more than one day at PH even though they had a refueling TF and plenty of ammo. I've read that now some ...

<t> In the game I'm playing against the allied AI, it's early March 42 and I've laid siege to Singapore. I've moved in all the artillery I had in the area and am bombarding daily. Each bombardment causes about 1000 allied casualties, so I think I need to do this for another week or two before ...

<r> Fog of War maybe [:D]<br/>

I think they are flying so low so that the AA can't target them since they can't track so low. They would have had to pop up to a 100' maybe to launch their torps. The B25 also did pre-radar nap-of-the-earth flying for their skip bombing. I like the B25s fitted ...

RE: I wonder how often this happens

I've had this happen to me also. I thought it might have been related to task force size (eg 25) but you only had 10 ships in the TF. Maybe it's related to the Leadership level of the TF commander? VADM Pierce is sorely lacking in leadership, maybe he had his map upside down [:D]
